Mark Meadows is a freelance bass player based in Los Angeles, CA doing tours, sessions, teaching, clinics and local gigs. Born in KY and raised as a preacher's son, Mark brings to the stage an intense funky/rock bass style matched with an eye-catching stage presence along with a lot of fun. Since May 2002 Mark has been touring with the legendary Edgar Winter Band. Meadows touring/recording credits include such great artists as... Johnny "Guitar" Watson(with whom he toured 'til Watson's death in 1996 in Japan), Brian Auger's Oblivion Express (1997), Roseanne (2001 TV talkshow band and show theme music), Queen Latifa, Eric Burden, Bonnie Raite, Tommy Henriksen (pop rock), Barbara Morrison (jazz vocalist), Meredith Brooks (while with Meredith from the start of her '97 world tour, Mark opened for the Rolling Stones, performed on the main stage of the first two Lileth Fair tours and guested on TV shows all over the world and after playing on Meredith's second Capitol CD "Deconstruction," Mark was made musical director for the '99 tour), The Motels, and John Waite.

| Mark has also recorded with Lisa Loeb and Dweezil Zappa (on latest CD "Automatic) as well as lots of sessions for Nickelodeon (currently on tracks for the show "Chalkzone") as well as many commercial sponsors (Suzuki, Plymouth, Ford and others) and TV networks including Fox Sport West and the spring 2003 show "On The Spot" (WB Network) where Mark was in the band on the show with Dweezil Zappa. Mark's background covers rock, funk, jazz, pop, country, gospel and blues. With some help from his fellow L.A. musicians, Mark near completion of the first batch of tunes for his first solo CD "Cowboy Jazz," which will feature many great artists. The CD will be available soon. Look for Mark on the road all summer/fall with Edgar Winter and look for the DVD Edgar Winter "Live at the Galaxy" coming in Sept. '03.
